THE STORY OF A LIFE SAVED

“If it weren’t for Narcan, I wouldn’t be here.”

-Deputy Farrell

Narcan Saves Lives

In April 2022, two Ashland County deputies were exposed to the potent drug, fentanyl. Both deputies began to overdose. Without Narcan, the deputies might not be here today. Here’s their powerful story and testimony to the value of Narcan to save lives.

What Is Narcan?

Reverse an Opioid Overdose

Narcan is the brand name for the medicine Naloxone. It is used to rapidly reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, which can prevent the loss of life. If you feel you could benefit from having Narcan available in case of an emergency, you can get it free of charge from the local providers listed here.

You can save lives.
